Dr. Robin Stone

Senior Medical Director

Dr. Robin Stone was born and raised in Ohio and has spent the majority of her professional career there. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Akron where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is a 2008 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stone is passionate about veterinary medicine and believes strongly in the importance of the human animal bond. She has over thirty years of experience working in the veterinary industry. Prior to veterinary school she spent many years as a veterinary nurse, working in both general practice and emergency medicine. Many of these years were spent in the Tampa area. She followed a similar path after graduation and has held positions as both an emergency clinician and general practitioner. In addition to practicing, she loves teaching and has taught several classes in veterinary technology.

Dr. Stone enjoys spending time with her friends, nephews, and ever-expanding family of furry children. In her free time, she likes woodworking, reading, and seeing a good theatre performance. She is excited to be moving back to Florida where much of her family currently resides.

Management Team

Jamesyn

Assistant Practice Manager

Jamesyn has been in the veterinary field for the last 3 years and plans on doing it for the rest of his life! He knew that he wanted to be in this field when he realized that he had 22 animals at home and thought he should find a way to make money. His favorite part of working in veterinary is that it is forever changing; there is always something new to learn. Jamesyn completed his CVA at STC and is working on obtaining his CVT. He enjoys various activities like baking, crafting, and singing. Although he no longer has 22 animals, he still has a senior husky with young energy (Peyton), 2 kittens (Milo & Rowena), and 2 boa constrictors (Ron & Mango).

Leonor

Client Care Coordinator

Leonor has loved working in the medical field for the last 5+ years. Helping those who cannot speak is very rewarding to him. Being able to communicate with the patient’s parents in regards to the health of their fur babies is very rewarding, too. He can speak Spanish and English, and can understand Portuguese as well as French (not a lot). He just purchased a home, which he is very proud of. He has a papillon-chihuahua mix whose legal name is Chiquita Banana as well as a male all white cat with blue eyes named Huey. He is very “bubbly” but nervous at the same time. English is his second language so his spelling can be a little off (he uses a lot of Google)!
